I don’t know how much you know about British culture or politics, but our Prime Minister (think President) and his Cabinet (think Congress) are of the obvious opinion that the poor do not matter.

I can vouch for this; I live in a deprived area and it gets harder and harder to make ends meet. I’m lucky, however, because my parents have friends in high (well, high enough) places that keep us afloat.

Others are not so lucky. One such person is Ava. She’s one of my favourite bloggers because, well, her blog is amazing, and her interests are video games and I think she likes to write. 

Ava is in a very dire situation: the cost for her to live is now significantly higher than what the government are providing for her.Please believe me when I say that she is not an isolated case.

But she is a case we can help - even if a little bit. She has a fund-raiser thing but, well, it’s not going to work if nobody sees.

Please, everyone. She does not deserve to live so hopelessly. She - and her mother - are in terrible, terrible conditions and I am begging youto help her.

If you can’t donate, at least spread the word, please. Reblog.

Mr comes from the French monsieur, which I think literally translates as ‘my lord’ and basically just means master, and Mrs comes from maistre which is the feminine form of master, so actually—for once—no.

Actually, Mrs. has its origins as a contraction of ‘mistress’; it has nothing to do with the French at all. 

Mr is the same; its origins lie with ‘Master’.

French only comes into play with the plurals of these forms. The plural of Mrs is Mesdames, which is French, and the plural of Mr is Misters, abbreviated to messrs, an abbreviation of messieurs, from the French.

I dreamed I was in school and then I was on the bus home and then on the train, and I forgot to get off the train, but eventually I got home. I was supposed to go back to school for group work later that evening but I fell asleep at 2 pm and slept all through the night till 8 am. And then I felt really guilty for a long time, until it turned out I wasn’t needed, and also suddenly the world was gonig under. 

Another dream where we were fighting robot aliens. I don’t remember much, but we were a bunch of people in a big storage house. 

wait I remember more. first, there was me and just a few other people and we were searching through a big not completely empty house, and we found some aliens laying in a row on a shelf, but I don’t remember what happened to them. What I do remember is something that looked like a pulpit that I knew was hollow, I knew someone or something was hiding in there. 
So I started to open all kinds of doors and drawers and hidden compartments and the…monks? that worked in the house were a bit upset but I finally found the person working in there. It was a man I think. But sort of alien like with red glowing eye and now much of a nose. Anyway, he was nice and I helped him escape. 

then back to the other dream, lots of people in a warehouse, big windows on one wall, with robot-lorries operated by alien coming by, one by one. we shot them, I had a really big machine gun. I think there was gasoline in some of hte lorries because there were really huge explosions when we shot them. Right before I woke up, there was a group of people on the outside, running at the building, and I thought “oh no this is the part where we can’t let anyone in because the enemy might be with them or something”, but no we let every single one in, that was nice.

I’m finishing polishing up an album of music.

It will be called Optical Illusion. It will be released tomorrow/May 19 (because I like Sunday music releases, apparently? Personal Growth came out on a Sunday too.)

I am selling it because I like being able to pay for therapy. Also, to reassure people who for some reason only follow my bandcamp (assuming they exist, which I doubt) that I am still a) alive and b) kicking.

Some of the songs on it you have heard before. Some you haven’t. There is also significant use of staccato cello noises in the place where kick drums would normally go, because apparently that is a thing I do a lot. And more of me going “wait, so why does all my music remind people of video game music?”

Spreading this around to get some attention would be appreciated, thanks.

Haven’t been drawing much lately, so I figured it was time to pull out some old stuff or something. This one’s from late 2011 or so. It’s really small because I like to work with small brushes, and when I started drawing, I didn’t really pay attention to the size of the canvas. So biscuit-sized Edward it is, then!
